Benjamin Blackburn is an American artist and writer who is best known for his sculptural work involving baseball. A graduate of Sarah Lawrence College, Mr. Blackburn is the proprietor and primary artist-in-residence at Wonderboy Studios. His work is can be found in private fine art collections around the world as well as at regular exhibitions throughout the United States.
In 2010, Mr. Blackburn's "Clemente" was featured as part of the Smithsonian Museum's Life of Roberto Clemente exhibition as well a Final Four exhibition of basketball art at the National Art Museum of Sport. In 2011-12, Mr. Blackburn's work was selected to be shown as part of the National Art Museum of Sport's Super Bowl Art exhibition in Indianapolis.
